All of this year's commemorations take place at the Bickford Centre, located at 777 Bloor St. West (Christie / Bloor). and begin with the Children's Workshops at 2 p.m.

OUTDOOR CAPOEIRA WORKSHOP

Capoeira is a hybrid artform, a mix of martial art movements and dance, played to songs chanted in Portuguese, rooted in the african muslim and aboriginal cultures of Brazil.

PATIO CONCERTS
free outdoor concerts featuring three diverse Latin American - Canadian groups.

5:30 pm: Muiraquita Capoeira Roda.

6:00 pm: Mulambo Groove. Brazilian Rhythms.
