I chose a beautiful excerpt from the play to better convey the concept: ìThen, they take out the young man’s heart, bury it in the sand and say, “Now, Leave your heart in the South and go find your memory in the North.” That’s why I can’t stay in the South, because I won’t have a memory and I can’t stay in the North because I won’t have a heart and I have no other choice but to go North to get my memory and go back South to get my heart.
